Data governance
The University System of New Hampshire’s Data Governance framework establishes the principles and structures for managing institutional data as a valued asset. It defines how data is collected, maintained, accessed, and used to ensure accuracy, security, compliance, and ethical stewardship. Effective Data Governance supports consistent decision making and promotes accountability across all System areas.
Below are links to Data Governance Policy Documents, Data Standards, and related guidance that define roles, responsibilities, and expectations for managing our institutional data.

Digital governance
Our websites are often the first impression people have of the university system, whether they arrive through a search, social media, or a print or digital ad campaign. Governance provides a set of guidelines and standards to help site admins, communicators and others with web responsibilities promote clear, consistent messaging and imagery across Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ websites. Governance also aims to ensure our pages are up to date and easy to navigate.
The process
Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ and marketing, communications and public affairs representatives from each institution have worked together to implement web governance at Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ, and have established a set of Web Governance Standards.
